How To Transfer Your Book To Your MP3 Player
- Make sure your MP3 player is attached to your computer
- Open your Windows Media Player
- Locate your audiobook files on your hard-drive
- Click on one of the audiobook files to open it. Enter your username + password in the pop-up window to authenticate your license. Click the Play Button.
- Select all the files you want to sync to your mp3 player > hold down the control key if you want to select and sync multiple files at once
- Right click and select 'Add to sync list' - you'll see the 'ready to sync' message appear next to each track
- Click the 'Start Sync' button to move the files to your player
- Once they are all transferred … That's it, you can play them on your MP3 player
How To Burn Your Book To CD
- Insert a blank CD into your CD drive
- Open Windows Media Player on your computer
- Find where you saved your audiobook files on your computer when you downloaded them
- Click on the first file of the audiobook to open it and enter your name and password in the pop-up window to verify your license. Then click the Play button
- Select the audiobook files you want to burn and then right click and choose ‘Add to burn list’ from the popup menu
- Click the ‘Start Burn’ button. The burning process will commence
Tip
If the total selected files length is less than 74min you're ok to burn them all onto one CD
If they are more than 74mins, you will need to use more than one CD.... OR
You might want to buy larger capacity discs to enable an easier burning experience.
How To Transfer Your Book To Your iPod
First, Burn A CD Of Your Book Files So You Can Rip Them Into iTunes
- Insert a blank CD into your CD drive
- Open Windows Media Player on your computer
- Find where you saved your audiobook files on your computer when you downloaded them
- Click on the first file of the audiobook to open it and enter your name and password in the pop-up window to verify your license
- Click the play button
- Select the audiobook files you want to burn and then right click and choose ‘Add to burn list’ from the popup menu
- Click the ‘Start Burn’ button The burning process will commence.
Now We’ll Transfer Your Files To Your Ipod
Make sure your burned audiobook CD is in your computer’s CD tray
Also create a folder in the iTunes playlist called Audiobooks to hold all your audiobooks.
- Open iTunes
- Under the Devices Menu there is an ‘AudioCD’ icon. Click this ‘AudioCD’ icon and you will see the files on your CD will appear on screen
- Click the ‘Import CD’ button. This will rip the files straight into iTunes
- To save your files into iTunes - first change the name of the book files to something more meaningful eg: bookname1, bookname2 etc
- Then drag the book files over into your Audiobooks folder
- Make sure you have automatic sync selected in iTunes and the next time you sync your player, the files will be transferred to your iPod automatically and will be ready to listen to.
